Tybee is our black and tan mini purebred Doxie picked up from Coweta County by AC. He is probably just under 2 years old. He is paralyzed in his back two legs, and we are not sure if he is a surgery candidate. There is an experimental program at UGA and we are desperately trying to get him into it! In order to get him healthy and ready, we are trying to raise funds to remove a tumor he has on his shoulder, blood work, X-Rays which is all needed for the UGA study!
GHS purchased his wheelchair, which he is still working on. He can do it, just does NOT love it! It has made him mobile though! He gets along with everyone and he is a sweetie. He is the nicest little guy you could ever imagine. He lets me do anything to him, as I have to extract his bladder several times a day, treat his wounds, etc...He gives kisses, but he does not wag his tail, which one day we hope he can do!
