Tybee

Tybee is our black and tan mini purebred Doxie picked up from Coweta County by AC. He is probably just under 2 years old. He is paralyzed in his back two legs, and we are not sure if he is a surgery candidate. There is an experimental program at UGA and we are desperately trying to get him into it! In order to get him healthy and ready, we are trying to raise funds to remove a tumor he has on his shoulder, blood work, X-Rays which is all needed for the UGA study!

GHS purchased his wheelchair, which he is still working on. He can do it, just does NOT love it! It has made him mobile though! He gets along with everyone and he is a sweetie. He is the nicest little guy you could ever imagine. He lets me do anything to him, as I have to extract his bladder several times a day, treat his wounds, etc...He gives kisses, but he does not wag his tail, which one day we hope he can do!

LUCY LU: Beagle Mix

AGE: 16 Weeks

HISTORY: Rescued from a high kill rural Georgia shelter with her sister who has since been adopted.

Lucy Lu is the SWEETEST little girl who loves to play and gets along with everyone (cats, dogs, kids!) This sweet little girl will make a GREAT companion! At adoptions she sat quietly in the lap of a girl who was only 2 and a half. She really is super sweet and just wants some love! Lucy Lu has been spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, given flea and heartworm prevention and is microchipped. HISTORY: Nike and his mom/sisters were surrendered to GHS from a bad situation!

OTHER: Nike is litter box trained and LOVES All dogs, cats, and kids! (even birds and fishies!)

Nike is an AWESOME kitten. He enjoys being rocked like a baby or chasing toys. He is fun, loving, spunky, and cute. He is full of energy, playful, and very social so he needs a home with another fun animal (cat or dog!)! Nike is also very sweet and comes when you call him (how rare!) and also takes breaks while he is playing to check in with you for a good head scratch…he really is a darling boy! We are currently working on leash training with Nike and it is going great...wouldn't you like a cat you can walk!? Nike is at the adoption center at the Petsmart on Howell Mill Road. His adoption Donation includes all vetting for a full year (neuter/microchip/rabies/kittenvaccines/dewormed/flea-tick preventative/and lots of TLC!)
